During summer, there is a water deficiency (dehydration) in the body that needs to be met. To meet the water deficiency, we can adopt some methods here -

Keep drinking water throughout the day and keep a water bottle with you. Do not wait to feel thirsty and keep drinking water at short intervals.

Eat hydrating fruits and vegetables in summer, such as watermelon, melon, cucumber, tomato, spinach, and strawberry. They are rich in water.

Coconut water is very beneficial for us in summer because it is a natural electrolyte drink that instantly hydrates the body and also provides essential minerals.

Lemon water in summer not only provides us freshness but also balances the electrolytes of the body. It is also a good source of vitamin C.

Buttermilk or lassi made from curd are rich in probiotics. They cool the body and are also good for digestion in summer.

Instead of sweet drinks from the market, drink homemade iced tea or sherbet. You can enhance its taste by adding mint, khus or lemon to it.

Eat light food in summer like watery soups or broths. These help keep the body hydrated and are also rich in nutrients.

Avoid drinking too many sweet and caffeinated drinks like soda, juice and caffeinated drinks. These drinks actually dehydrate your body, causing dehydration.

Drink water during and after workouts in summer. So that the lost fluids can be replenished.

Light yellow urine in summer indicates that you are well hydrated. But dark yellow color can be a sign of dehydration so you should drink more water.
