Iberis amara (Candytuft) is a member of the cruciferous family. This is an ornamental plant. People often plant it in the garden for decoration. It produces white flowers which look very beautiful.

Gynoecium-Bicarpellary, syncarpous, superior ovary, unilocular but becomes bilocular due to false septum, parietal placentation, style short, and stigma bifid.
Fruit– Silicula.
