It is very easy to grow rosemary at home. It is used in making many types of dishes. Let's see how it is grown:

Select a Location:  Rosemary should be grown in a place where it gets 6-8 hours of sunlight every day. You can plant it in a sunny window, balcony or garden.

Prepare the soil: It grows in sandy or loamy soil. The soil should be well-drained. The soil should have a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.0–7.0).

Get rosemary seeds or cuttings: Rosemary seeds germinate slowly and can be challenging for beginners. To get the plant growing quickly, you can grow it from cuttings.

Plant rosemary From seed: Sow the seeds in a small pot or seed tray cover lightly with soil and spray with water. Place the pot in a warm, sunny spot. They should grow in 2-4 weeks.

From cuttings: Take a 4-6 inch cutting from a healthy rosemary plant. Remove the lower leaves and plant the cutting in well-moist soil.

From potted plants: Buy rosemary plants from the store and transplant them into a larger pot or garden.

Fertilizing: Rosemary grows well with minimal fertilizer. During the growing season, fertilize it with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks.

Pruning and Maintenance: Prune regularly and remove dead or woody stems to promote bushier growth. Prune lightly after flowering to maintain shape.

Harvesting: When the plant is 6-8 inches tall, start harvesting the shoots. Use the leaves fresh or dry them for long-term storage.
