This study was conducted at the KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research in Karnataka and published in the medical journal "Oncoscience."
The study analyzed data from 72 prostate cancer patients and 132 men with benign prostate enlargement.
The researchers suggest that compounds found in coffee—such as caffeine, cafestol, and antioxidant polyphenols—may be linked to anti-cancer effects.
The research also found that coffee drinkers had a significantly lower risk of prostate cancer (by approximately 65%), and a relatively lower risk was also observed among those who consumed meat.
