The Heartleaf Philodendron is a very popular indoor plant, scientifically known as *Philodendron hederaceum*. It is also referred to as the “Sweetheart Plant” because its leaves are heart-shaped, glossy green, and smooth. This fast-growing, evergreen vine looks beautiful in hanging baskets, on shelves, or trailing down walls. Much like the Money Plant, it can be easily propagated using cuttings. It helps remove harmful substances—such as formaldehyde—from the air and thrives even in low-light conditions with minimal watering. It is an easy-to-care-for plant; It requires more water in summer but less in winter.
